Imago Ministries
Creativity.
We are to be creative. It is our birthright. It is natural. If you believe that you are not or it has been trained out of you it can be easily reactivated, rediscovered, redeployed, and replicated.
Creativity is not just a narrow subject but is extended to an ever widening expression of imaginative concepts, thoughts, models, and ideas from the diversity of human expression, experience, and knowledge. We are to be imaginative in creating solutions for the problems of this world and guiding things not just to be functional but to constantly evolve from the good, to the better, and to the best they can be.
The art of life is a creative gift and talent. It is inspirational, translational, and transformational. Creativity is to cause thought and inspire humanity to do more than first thought possible. It is to move the impossible to the most probable.
The Vision
Creativity. Community. Transformation.
Our Name
Imago comes from the Latin word meaning image and is the root of the word imagination. It reflects the creative nature placed within humanity by God and serves as the foundation of our vision.
Our Vision
Imago exists to build centers of creativity that foster healing of the body, mind, and spirit; develop artists and creative leaders; and inspire transformational spiritual awakening through the arts, community, and service.
We envision a network of campuses across the nation and around the world where creativity is used as a force for restoration, education, innovation, and hope.
Our Mission
To cultivate environments where creativity, faith, and community intersect to:
Heal and restore individuals and families.
Train artists and creative professionals for lives of purpose and service.
Demonstrate God's love through practical action.
Serve communities through outreach, education, and compassion.
Empower those often overlooked or marginalized by society.
Model responsible stewardship of creation and resources.
The Imago Campus
The Imago campus is envisioned as a living community centered around creativity, worship, education, and service.
Key elements include:
A central spiritual community and performing arts center.
Studios for visual arts, music, dance, theater, film, and media.
Broadcast and production facilities for television, radio, streaming, podcasts, and digital content.
Educational classrooms and training facilities.
Student housing and artist-in-residence programs.
Retreat facilities, campground, hotel, and outdoor performance venues.
Prayer walks, sculpture gardens, nature trails, and reflective spaces.
Organic farming and sustainable environmental initiatives.
Retreat cabins for personal renewal, study, and spiritual growth.
The campus is designed to be an oasis of discovery, creativity, stewardship, and encounter.
Community Impact
Imago believes that meaningful ministry invests in people where they live and work. We seek to become a trusted resource through:
Arts education and training.
Community theater and creative programming.
Workshops in music, visual arts, dance, and performance.
Economic development through creative entrepreneurship.
Traveling performances and outreach events.
Community galleries, exhibitions, and arts festivals.
Resources for artists, nonprofits, and creative businesses.
Partnerships providing legal, insurance, licensing, and business-development support.
Financial Philosophy
Imago strives to be self-sustaining through mission-aligned enterprises and community partnerships so that charitable giving can be directed primarily toward people, programs, outreach, and ministry impact.
Whenever possible, educational and ministry opportunities will be made available without financial barriers to participation.
See Them. Feed Them. Love Them.
Imago exists to ensure that those who are overlooked, marginalized, vulnerable, or living with special needs are seen, valued, and loved.
We believe every person bears inherent dignity and worth. Our responsibility is not to look away but to recognize, serve, and advocate for those whom society often renders invisible.
Through practical support, compassionate care, education, food assistance, family support, and community engagement, we seek to demonstrate God's love through action.
Our Commitment
We will:
See those whom others overlook.
Feed physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs.
Love people through consistent acts of compassion, mercy, justice, and dignity.
Support individuals with special needs and their families.
Create opportunities for belonging, growth, and purpose.
Restore visibility and value to those living in the shadows of society.
Our Guiding Principle
To be seen is to be affirmed.
When we truly see people, we acknowledge their humanity, their worth, and their place within God's creation.
Our calling is simple:
See Them. Feed Them. Love Them.
